“When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.”

JD Williams is a Wyoming native with deep roots in ranching. For the past 30 years, JD has been in the saddle, tending to cattle and nurturing the land. He sees grass as his crop and cows as his trusted tools for stewardship.

Originally from Saratoga, JD holds a degree in Ranch Management from the University of Wyoming. His career has taken him across the arid west, but since 2000, he's been managing the Four Three Ranch in northern Niobrara County.

JD appreciates what Will Rogers once said. “There will never be any class of people in the country that can replace the old western cowman for common sense, shrewdness, humor and fine citizenship.”

JD believes in economic growth on Wyoming’s terms. Wyoming’s core industries are the foundation of the Wyoming economy. JD supports policy that strengthens our economy. Wyoming depends on jobs associated with Coal, Oil, Gas, other minerals, other forms of energy, Tourism, and Agriculture.

JD will stand beside Wyomingites as we push back against federal government overreach, the woke agenda, and bad economic policy that drives inflation.

JD supports public servants who work hard to keep Wyoming moving in the right direction. Our local elected officials, law enforcement, first responders, teachers, and state employees all deserve our gratitude, respect, and support.

As a rancher, JD understands the balance between wildlife, private property rights, and the states right to manage our own resources.

JD’s experience has proven that the more varied the perspectives of decision makers, the more likely a workable solution will be reached. Anytime dissenting voices are excluded from a conversation, the probability of reaching a palatable result decreases. JD is committed to having candid conversations regarding school choice, mental health, small town infrastructure, Emergency Medical Services, and Property Tax Reform. JD is resolved to address these current issues to reach solutions that work for Wyoming.

Join JD in his journey to serve Wyoming with integrity and experience.
